More digging in the unsealed documents reveals an expert witness was ready to refute Heard's abuse claims if necessary

A two-part documentary on the Depp trial is supposed to be aired later this month on Discovery+, and the way it is formatted is clearly meant to favor Heard. Instead of relating the trial as it unfolded, it will first give a tepid, reluctant look at Depp’s "alternative" story while focusing on his substance abuse issues, while the way it’s been described the second part will run rampant with Heard’s false stories (and ignore her drug issues and her PR firm's Russian-style Internet disinformation campaign), and attack social media (by pro-Heard fanatic Kat Tenbarge?), that unlike the mainstream media broadened its perspective to include the truth. I also wonder if the makers of this documentary hope that the appeal judges see this and are "swayed."

If these people had any honesty, a real documentary would have begun with noting that Depp entered the trial with seemingly all odds against him, but as the trial unfolded the truth that the mainstream media had been concealing from the public was finally exposed out in an open forum for people to make their own judgments—that along with the jury spoke largely in Depp’s favor.  The people who created this documentary want to fool people with the fig-leaf of “both sides," but in reality they have a clear agenda and are desperately trying to re-mold the narrative that they were so wrong about.

Meanwhile a study conducted by a Dr. Colin Harris https://www.starapplecreative.com/post/behind-the-smoke-screen-an-analysis-of-the-depp-v-heard-verdict-and-the-conflict-between-truth was sent to many mainstream media outlets for their perusal but has been apparently ignored. Harris wanted to know why so many people were not buying the mainstream media’s attempt to frame the narrative in Heard’s favor—that is the “believe all women” trope. Among other things he found that three times as many people who fell on the side Depp followed most of the trial as opposed to those who supported Heard. It should be pointed out that the vast majority supported Depp, so the number of Heard supporters who actually paid attention to the trial is likely far smaller than even those numbers suggest.

Now let’s discuss those unsealed documents from the Virginia trial. The mainstream media—first through a piece published by the Daily Beast—claimed that Depp supporters made a bad mistake when they “crowd-funded” the money to pay for access to the unsealed documents, which of course for the Heard denial camp revealed “shocking new revelations” in the case that “substantiated” her abuse claims and asserted that Depp’s team was passing “fake” evidence and digging up salacious “gossip” about Heard’s past. YouTuber TheRealLauraB was in particular seen as foolish for her part in seeking the disclosure of the documents, and how it has all “backfired” on her and Depp supporters in general.

Of course nothing could be further from the truth. “Hidden” in those 6,000+ pages is the evidence that should bury any doubt that the jury got the verdict right. LauraB’s latest post https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtD3GyY9ku0              examines the documents regarding the medical evidence—or lack thereof—supporting Heard’s claims of abuse. The unsealed documents show that the Depp team had prepared testimony from an expert medical witness who would refute all of Heard’s claims of injuries, including alleged sexual assault. Again it should be noted again and again that the “evidence” of injury to Heard is almost entirely based on Heard’s testimony and the few photographs she produced; not a single witness claimed to have actually seen Depp strike Heard—only in the reverse.

Now, what was in those sealed documents in regard to the medical evidence (or lack thereof) according to LauraB?

It was first observed that the only medical testimony Heard’s team brought into court was in regard to Depp’s sliced fingertip, but strangely they brought no medical experts or documents to back up Heard’s own claims of abuse. That in itself was deeply disturbing, since it suggested that Depp’s own injury was the only significant injury that either of them sustained that required medical attention. Heard never sought medical attention for any of the horrendous injuries she claimed to have suffered—suggesting that these “injuries” were inventions of her "histrionic" personality, memories from her childhood, or simply lies that she thought she could get away with by suggesting Depp couldn’t “remember” them in a drugged or intoxicated state, like someone in a blackout.

So are Heard’s claims of abuse “probable”? LauraB points out that it was odd that the UK judge apparently believed that Heard was lying about the Hicksville trailer park episode, yet was willing to believe whole-hog Heard’s wild claims about the Australia incident, where Depp’s fingertip was sliced off. In the audio (recorded by Heard) that was not allowed in court, what we learn is that nobody present mentioned any injuries on Heard that required medical attention (certainly not bloody feet stepping on broken glass as she claimed), only scratches on her arm that one person present believed were self-inflicted. The conversation concerning Heard was getting her back to the U.S. because of her drug-addled state, and we could hear Heard in the background whining about not wanting to leave because she was afraid that someone was going to paint her as the “bad guy”—which she was.

LauraB notes that she was “really bothered” about this lack of medical documentation supporting Heard’s claims of abuse, physical or sexual. Depp’s team, on the other hand, was ready with their own expert witness in a Dr. Kimberly Collins, who had pages and pages of qualifications and experience to flummox Elaine Bredehoft, and was ready to tear to pieces Heard’s claims based on Heard’s own testimony and the “evidence” that she provided to the court.

During her various depositions, Heard tended to be either unresponsive with the help of a real asshole of an attorney (the 2016 deposition), or seemed unprepared or confused when confronted with evidence that contradicted her claims. So it was that while Heard claimed to have spoken to many medical professionals about her alleged abuse, she seemed unable to remember the name of even one who was willing to give an expert medical opinion in regard to her claims of abuse. In regard to her claims of sexual abuse, Heard claimed to have spoken to people who were “fertility doctors”—who she couldn’t remember the names of either—but no gynecologists who could give a medical opinion on evidence of assault.  Other things:

Heard seemed especially “confused” in concocting a believable lie about having not seen her acting coach, Kristy Sexton, before Sexton gave a deposition; they were in fact apparently together the day of or before the deposition, with the implication that they were getting their story “straight” about seeing alleged bruises on Heard’s face.

Heard had a habit of calling her therapists “doctors” in the hope of giving the impression that they were “qualified” to give an opinion on the veracity of Heard’s alleged injuries; we may recall during the 2016 deposition Heard “extended” the size of her tiny dog to “qualify” it to be “big” enough to lay that log:

The only explanation that makes any sense as to why Heard never sought medical attention for those allegedly “horrific” injuries she sustained is that they either never happened, or she exaggerated them beyond any logical degree.  The only doctor she had seen (or his stand-in, although he signed the document) was Dr. Kipper, who issued a routine physical report that noted no physical abnormalities on Heard.

Heard had been told that in order to verify her sexual assault claims, she needed to provide the names of all the medical professionals she claimed to have spoken to about it, which according to Heard was “many” such people. Yet as noted before, Heard claimed that she didn’t remember any of the medical professionals she allegedly spoke to about this.

Dr. Collins was expected to testify the last week of the trial, but apparently time became an issue and Heard’s claims were already largely discredited during Camille Vasquez’ cross examination. According to the unsealed documents, she was to “draw upon her experience and expertise as a forensic pathologist to testify that Ms. Heard's purported injuries as depicted in photos that Ms. Heard produced in this case are not consistent with Ms. Heard's description and history of the alleged violence and abuse that caused those injuries.”

Remember, the only “evidence” to back up Heard’s claims of abuse by Depp is Heard’s own testimony and the few questionable photographs she produced. There was simply too many conflicting reports from witnesses for their testimony to do anything but cancel each other out.

Dr. Collins was also going to testify to what “blunt force trauma,” a “contusion,”  “black eyes,” “sharp force trauma,” “defensive wounds” and “traumatic alopecia”—which had to do with the alleged hair pull—or manual strangulation was supposed to look like, since all of these would have been the result of the injuries Heard claimed. Based on the photographic evidence Heard produced in court, Dr. Collins was prepared to testify that Heard exhibited none of these evidences of physical abuse. Believe me, I know from personal experience that “manual strangulation” leaves welts around one’s neck that a teacher can notice with horrified concern.

In the March 2013 incident Heard claimed that Depp struck her so hard with the back of his hand with the rings that blood from Heard’s face splattered on a refrigerator (or was it a wall?). This was the same incident that Heard claimed to have suffered this bruise to her arm, which does not appear to be the result of Depp striking her with his ringed fist as Heard claimed (I suggested in a previous post that “random bruising” was a likely culprit). Dr. Collins was prepared to comment on Heard’s face in the photograph, which shows no injuries at all, let alone broken skin that would have been required for a blood splatter:

Why Heard chose to photograph her arm instead of a bloody face is mindboggling—unless, of course, it never happened.

In the 2014 incident in the Bahamas Depp allegedly did a “cavity search” on Heard, brutally kicked her in the chest and dragged her by the hair. Once more, photographs did not support this claim; if Heard had been kicked as she described, she should have had either broken or bruised ribs (both very painful and possibly life-threatening if ignored) and visible contusions that required immediate medical attention. Further, there was no evidence of forceful extraction of hair from this incident. Let us remember that this was time when Depp had gone to the island to "detox" and Heard insisted that she be one to decide when he received his withdrawal medication, and she apparently tortured him by withholding the medication, and he was in such pain that he had to take scalding showers.

In regard to the Australia incident, fact and fiction were one in the same for Heard. In the unsealed documents it was claimed that “Miss Heard was left with an injured lip, nose and cuts on her arms. Ms. Heard further described the events as those where there was broken glass everywhere and her feet were getting cut and her arms were very bloody. (Depp) was pressing so hard on her neck she couldn't breathe.” This story came out in Heard’s 2019 deposition; in fact in the run-up to UK trial, Heard presented seven different witness statements before she was satisfied that her lurid stories were “straight”—only to change them again in the Virginia trial.

Dr. Collins was again prepared to refute Heard’s claims based on the “evidence” she presented, which was meager indeed. Heard did not exhibit any of the kind of injuries one would expect to see from such an allegedly violent encounter. As mentioned previously from the audio from Australia, the witnesses at scene didn’t see any injuries on Heard that required medical attention—only “attention” to her mental state.

The December 2015 episode before the James Corden show was the one were Heard claimed that Depp gave her black eyes, split her lip and pulled a chunk of her hair out. Depp admitted on the stand to accidentally headbutting Heard when he was trying to disentangle himself from another of Heard's periodic rages. Dr. Collins could only evaluate from the photographs and Heard’s television appearance, and they were entirely “inconsistent” with what Heard claimed occurred. Here is the alleged spot where Heard’s hair was pulled out:

It doesn’t look like any “chunk” of hair pulled out, does it? What it looks like is Heard having Raquel Pennington or someone pull her hair apart to make her scalp visible (barely); the image of hair on the floor is too short and does not appear to include the follicles or blood one would expect to see if it had been pulled out by the roots; in fact it looks like someone had just taken a pair of scissors and cut a lock of hair. And as also mentioned; no one saw those “black eyes” except Heard and the people she trusted to lie for her. Even this image taken by Heard...

...is at odds with the sworn statement of Heard’s former hair stylist, Samantha McMillen, who worked on Heard prior to her appearance on the Corden show a day after this alleged incident. McMillen was prepared to testify that she didn’t see any evidence of “black eyes” on Heard’s face that was without makeup. McMillen was initially to be a Heard witness (Heard "bragged" to her about her "black eyes" that McMillen didn't see) before it was discovered that she intended on telling the truth—unlike so many other of Heard’s witnesses.

The documents conclude that "Based on Ms. Heard’s description of the violence, Dr. Collins would expect to see bilateral periorbital contusions (black eyes), a damaged nose secondary to it being broken, a swollen lip secondary to blunt force trauma, and contusions over the body. Dr. Collins would expect to see forearm bruising secondary to defense wounds. Dr. Collins would expect to see signs of traumatic alopecia and documentation of all these findings in the medical record. However. pictures and such descriptions are absent. Further, Dr. Collins has reviewed the footage and relevant photographs of Ms. Heard on the Late Late Show with James Corden on December 16th 2015. Of note there is a photograph of Ms. Heard opening her mouth very widely...

...which is inconsistent with her description of the injuries to her face including a split lip and broken nose. Indeed had Ms. Heard sustained the injuries as she described them, opening her mouth that widely would have been very painful and would have likely restarted active bleeding of the lip."

The birthday party incident in which Heard became enraged because Depp arrived late from a business meeting with his attorneys in regard his management mismanaging his money (and likely Heard and her family and friends leaching millions from him), Depp testified that Heard punched him twice in the face, which Heard denied. Heard claimed a month passed before she saw Depp again; never in any of her witness statements does Heard acknowledge that it was during this time Depp's mother was gravely ill and would pass away, which only demonstrates the depth of her narcissism.

When she next say him was  the alleged phone throwing incident of March 21, 2016--the day after Depp's mother died--in which Depp testified that he was walking away from Heard during another "discussion" and tossed the phone over his shoulder expecting Heard to catch it; Heard claimed that he wound-up like a baseball pitcher and hurled it at her face. This is also the incident where the police were summoned, and the officers who were at the scene all testified to seeing no injuries on Heard, who was the only person to "witness" to her version of the phone-throwing incident.

If this phone had been thrown the way Heard claimed there certainly would have been broken skin and subsequent scabbing. Instead we heard testimony from witnesses who didn’t see this alleged bruise until the day of Heard’s TRO appearance almost a week later. Dr. Collins again notes that Heard’s alleged injury was not consistent with the story she told.

LauraB also throws shade on Heard’s split lip images, suggests that Heard appears to have altered angles to use shading on her face (she also suggests that what is a "bruise" may actually be acne) and goes on to say that “I think she looked more bruised and beat up every day she showed up to court with the way she did her makeup to be honest with you.” I talked about this in my post of May 28; this image in particular was either "interesting" or proof that Heard was capable of faking a bruise with her “bruise kit”:

Notice also the slight darkening around her eyes; those are not "bruises" or "black eyes" either, but some people might believe her if she said so.

In the meantime, there is this story that is starting to spread that Heard and Eve Barlow were involved in an altercation in a Tel Aviv hotel, and Barlow is currently back in Los Angeles. I won’t comment further on that except to say that this is too “explosive” a claim to simply take at face value without confirmation from a “credible” source. However, it shouldn’t “shock” anyone if it is true; after all, this is Heard’s MO, and even former “best friend” Raquel Pennington admitted to being the subject of Heard’s violent tantrums. Interestingly, despite the spread of this story, Barlow has not yet taken the time to refute the claims on her twitter page specifically, only filling space with more of the ridiculousness that randomly pops out of her head.

But she does have a video of herself saying “farewell” at the airport in Tel Aviv, leaving Amber behind. Maybe it’s to give Heard time to get her head together from all those of thoughts of “killing” herself—which when Barlow mentioned in a video she seems to “laugh” off as either non-serious, or perhaps just Heard suffering from her histrionic personality disorder.
