It really seems to me that the Republican primaries are going to be a raging dumpster fire with or without Donald Trump involved. Most of the electorate is still ignorant about the fascism that Ron DeSantis was to foist on the country, while Nimarata Nikki Randhawa—oh, I’m sorry, Nikki Haley—apparently believes that Barack Hussein Obama calling himself Barack Hussein Obama is turning himself into a affirmative action “victim.” She goes on tweeting that he
…set minorities back by singling them out as victims instead of empowering them. In America, hard work & personal responsibility matter. My parents didn’t raise me to think that I would forever be a victim. They raised me to know that I was responsible for my success.
First off, that is an entirely false statement; Obama is a magna cum laude Harvard Law School grad (Haley has an accounting degree from Clemson, so she knows how to count at least) and went out of his was to portray himself as the president of all people, as the ACA helps all people who want it; in fact an all-time high of 16.3 million people are currently enrolled in the program. Republicans, of course, only seek to send poor people in low-minimum wage states like Haley's into the gutter. Well, maybe she doesn’t know how to “count” after all.
Mike Pence is also in the primary circuit, and he is one of few Republicans with the guts to call out Trump on his criminal indictment for violating the Espionage Act. Of course “MAGA"voters think he is “traitor,” although some believe that he could benefit if the MAGA vote splinters between Trump, DeSantis and Haley—I mean why is Haley attacking Obama when her target should be Trump, unless she thinks she can’t “win” without the Trumpist vote.
But the reason why there is even a “race” in the Republican primaries is because Trump is just one stupid character without any sense of ethics or morality, and as we see clearly now, the adage “absolute power corrupts absolutely” defines Trump to a “T.” Trump is without doubt the most corrupt president in this country’s history, and he isn’t even “smart” about it. So let’s take a look at stupid is as stupid does. First Trump the Pack Rat:
What he thought were “safe” places to keep classified documents:
Besides those thousands of Mar-a-Lago guests who might take a “peek” at what was inside those boxes, we see unauthorized people being told about them by Trump-the-giddy-kid:
Trump instructing his former White House valet on where to hide the classified documents, and Trump seeking advice from his lawyers about how to conceal the documents from the grand jury, and lying about the submission of documents:
Trump was extremely reluctant to hand over classified documents, which he was no longer able to declassify legally since he was no longer president…
…except via a waiver, which Trump never submitted for and likely would have been denied since he was a known security risk:
Trump had classified documents from a number of governmental organizations, which he clearly had no personal use for, unless he could “sell” the information:
Of course Trump the world-class hypocrite and liar told us he would never do anything like this—except that for some reason he thought that classified documents would be “safer” in his possession, especially if was on a “need-to-know” basis, meaning only him:
Trump employees discussing what the “boss” wanted done with these documents:
Trump showing “cool” classified documents to unauthorized persons:
Trump discussing with a couple of his attorneys about how to “handle” this classified documents problem:
Yes, it would seem that Trump has a “problem” on his hands. But fortunately for him, he has an ally: the Trump appointee who had no prior bench experience but was a MAGA fanatic, Judge Aileen Cannon—the same judge whose “reasoning” in finding for Trump on the Special Master issue were ridiculed by an appeals court, which allowed the special prosecutor to continue investigating the improper handling of classified documents. Judges in federal cases are “randomly” selected for cases, and it wasn’t explained how Cannon was “randomly” picked to oversee both of these Trump cases.
The fear is that Cannon will disallow evidence that Trump attorneys were actively involved in aiding Trump’s concealment of classified documents, which would be a major blow to the government case—but such a decision would also likely be appealed and won.
Meanwhile as Trump empties out his mouth with the usual bovine scatology, we still have to endure the despicable support of a criminal like Trump on Fox News, which had the gall to display this byline…
… and that coward Kevin McCarthy claiming that classified documents were “safer” in a bathroom than a garage. Was that supposed to be a “joke”? Or is he just happy someone else is doing the dirty work that Republicans are too cowardly to do? That’s the problem with Republicans: they think morality and ethics is a joke, and corruption is just one way of doing business. At least this person understands what is happening here:
